swap questions

I have a 69 c10, i would like to know what all would transfer over from a 97 cheyenne?

I'm mainly interested in the front disc brake set up and the transmission...

Is there any other parts that would directly swap over? The 97 is a 4.3 v6 if that matters...and i have an I6 and 3 on the floor.

Welcome to the site!!!!!!

To answer your question about suspension, start here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=367260
What is said about the 63-66 trucks is applicable all the way up to 1970.

What transmission is in the 97? You'll need to consider the difference in speedometer reading (electric vs mechanical) total length, driveshaft.

Try to use the search as much as possible. MANY questions have already been asked and answered here.

that was one of the first places i looked but didnt see anything definite there about a 97...it looks like i would also half to source 69-72 lower A-arms??

I believe the trans is a 4l60e, ill do some more searching..all i could find was 4l60e with 5.3 ls swaps. I want to use the 4l60e with a sbc 350.
