1988 K3500 rclb cheyenne

hello, i have several obs trucks, 15+. they are all 2500 and 3500 trucks. this truck is a work truck with tool box bed. the truck is badged and titled as a 3500 4x4, but has a 14b sf rear axle, and a sbc 350 tbi engine. i have owned and still own lots of 1 ton obs trucks. but this is the first 3500/1 ton i have seen with the semi float rear axle. and yes it appears stock and unmolested. any one else seen this anomoly?

Re: 1988 K3500 rclb cheyenne

Old thread I know, but my '88 RCLB Cheyenne C3500 also has a 14SF/TBI 350 from the factory.

I think the General would build just about anything.

Regular cab, long bed.

Kinda redundant, in '88 the only OBS 3500's would be regular cab/long bed.
