Re: lights on flat roof
If indeed the roof is flat, then yes they were added after the factory did its thing. The lighted roof trucks all had the raised part

Re: lights on flat roof
to be accurate 69 and up had raised pod under the lenses, which of course includes you truck. 67 and I'm pretty sure 68 had lights that were added on the surface that had chrome body's as did 66 and down. I'd post a picture but its to dark right now to get one. as far as 69 and up some were shaped like hockey pucks 69-70 and some looked like fire helmets 71-72.

Re: lights on flat roof
thankyou they are pretty old since the lens have faded so much even the glow it emits looks old. I hardly noticed them when I bought the truck but they get a lot of attention

Shoot a PM to SS Tim. He should be able to help you.

Re: lights on flat roof
That is an odd combo of options. That's what you'd get back when people were allowed to order what they wanted and skip what they didn't. Kind like buying faucet washers. Back then you could walk in and buy the one you needed. Now you have to buy a package of 6-8 in various sizes to get the only one you need.
