My steering column moves side to side . All bolts are tight . I'm missing the bracket that mounts under the column by the cluster ( it will be here Monday ). But I've noticed fluid on the column under the hood . Just wondering if bracket will solve problem .

The pedal stop bracket will not make a difference on how tight the column is. It's hard to tell for sure from the underhood picture, but I think you are missing the bracket and clamp that hold the column to the engine side of the firewall.

I flipped your two pictures over, and the third picture is the brackets and clamps that hold the column in place. The bracket and clamp in "View A" are the ones on the outside of the firewall.

The fluid you see is where someone has lubed the inside of the column at some point in time. There is nothing in the column itself that can leak fluid.

I think Leon nailed it. Here's the bracket you seem to be missing, I just happened to have it out of my truck:

Thanks, I couldn't find the picture of just the bracket and clamp on my computer....

Thanks , that's exactly what I'm missing . Trying to fix issues from previous owner . Is truck safe to drive without it ? I know I can have one in couple days .

I don't think I would drive it. At least not very far. If you hit something hard with one of the tires it may bend something.
