Cool Orginial 1969 Owners Manual

I got my 69 from my brother and the other day he found the original owners manual and warranty for it! It was in the glove box when he bought it and he took it out so it wouldn't get ruined.

Check them out:

This one is a wee bit blurry, but it shows the retail sale date (March 1, 1969):

Awsome stuff. I have the owners manual, protecto-plate, waranty booklet, recall paper work, invoice, and window sticker for the old longhorn. Some real good info in all those papers if you read it.

only "paperwork" i got w/ my truck was the original owner's manual, and a circa 1973 gas station map of Minnesota. owner's manual is still a good read, tho.

also i checked under my seat springs...no build sheet. where else could it be?

My friends 67 that he bought last year has the protecto plate, original owners manual, title, and every registration since brand new, plus a few other papers. It came in a large folder. I do hope he finds it all again when he moves, he misplaced them when he took them out of the glove box over the winter.
