Steering column getting the best of me!! HELP
Ok, I have replaced my turn signal cancel cam, cancel springs, and the stupid stupid *&!?!**(&% signals will still not turn off by themselves! Im just waiting for someone to assume that just because I have my blinker on, Im actually going to turn, and then clobber my truck! Any suggestions on what to try next VERY much appreciated

By shaft, you mean the very center? I don't believe it's loose.......Its seems like whatever is supposed to put tension on those cancel springs isn't happening.......

Some possibilities: Cancelling cam is worn, spring is missing on bottom end of shaft, (non tilt column), spring is missing between cancelling cam and steering wheel, (tilt column), and cancelling springs are installed on the wrong sides.
Good luck! Let us know what you find. Jim |
