235/75/r15 on a k10
I'm going to need a set of tires for my winter truck soon. It has old 31s on it now. All of the k10's that I have had have either had 31s or 33s on them. Does a stock hight k10 look silly with 235/75/15 on them? They are pretty cheap compared to a decent 31" tire. Anyone got a pic of a k10 with 235s on it? Thanks.

Re: 235/75/r15 on a k10
I bought my 82,K-10 new.
It came with this tire size on it. After looking at the 31s or larger tires ,the 235's will look too small. Mike. |

I'd go with 31"s on a stock height K10. 235/75/15 will look too small

I seem to like my 30 x 9.50r15's. I used to run 33's and 35's too but if you aren't doing serious off roading they are just overkill.

235/75-15s are the stock size. 31s are the oversize option. If you like GM trucks, the stock size looks fine. If you are just about big tires on whatever, they'll look small.

I ordered up a set of 235/75/15 goodyear wranglers, I'll post a pic when I get them mounted up.

Don't they have those in stock at every Walmart? I like the price of them but they kinda feel like plastic to me. I like to feel my tires before I buy them. I guess I'm weird like that.

Re: 235/75/r15 on a k10
I'm not sure if they have them at Walmart, I know that have a good price, and seem to receive good reviews. This is a third string winter beater for me, so if they don't end up being the best tires that I have ever bought, they will serve the purpose, and I won't be out a whole lot. I have wrangler duratracs on my 80 k10, and I couldn't be happier with them

another option that's cheaper than 31's is the 265/75R15. They are close to 31" tall but quite a bit cheaper. Never seen them on a truck before but I know the tires are out there.
