Speedo drive and driven gear question
Hi all, I've tried to figure this out but can't seem to get to a good answer. I have a 72 k5 with what looks like a 6" lift on 35" tires. I'm trying to replace both the drive and driven gears. Can anyone recommend a combo of the model numbers I should get?

Re: Speedo drive and driven gear question
If you have the stock 205 transfer case, you don't have any options on new replacement parts. Used ones are also hard to come by. If what you have is still in decent shape, all you need is a ratio adapter. https://transmissioncenter.net/shop/...ratio-adapter/
If you call them they will tell you which one you need based on some info you provide.

Re: Speedo drive and driven gear question
You can also get an electric speedo that can be set up manually and not have to worry about the gears in the sender. This is the route I went. Not as cheap as a gear but it's nice to have if you ever change anything.
