Fan clutch
I have a 1970 C10. I think it has a 327 in it and I'm trying to replace the fan clutch but can't find the same one. Mine is a light duty clutch but it's only about 6" O.D. and all the ones I can find are around 7". Is the larger size a problem??

Re: Fan clutch
If it bolts together and the fan blade stays the same distance from the radiator I think it'd be ok. Is the old one wobbly or just loose?

Re: Fan clutch
It's a little wobbly like there's a bearing or something going out. I can move it back and forth a little.

Re: Fan clutch
No problem with a slightly larger O.D., as posted above make sure bolt patterns etc. are the same and you'll be good. If you're interested, there's good info on Hayden's site.
