WTB 1971 4WD/AC Fan Shroud

I need a nice fan shroud for my 71 4WD w/AC Jimmy 350 SBC. The one on my truck now has busted retainer tabs. I have an NOS 2WD shroud to trade up, down or sideways or will buy outright. Whatcha got? The picture shows my current (dirty) busted 4WD shroud on the left compared with the NOS 2WD one on the right.

Re: WTB 1971 4WD/AC Fan Shroud

FYI: I don't believe there's any difference between the 4WD A/C and non A/C fan shrouds, they should be all the same so if you find one from a non A/C 4wd truck it should work for you.

Also if you can't find a good one I've heard LMC sells an aftermarket one that is pretty good, for about $60. Here's a link:

Re: WTB 1971 4WD/AC Fan Shroud

Just a thought but my 4WD shroud on my '71 4x4 also had broken tabs but was fine everywhere else. I was able to overlay a repair section to the mount tabs using a two part epoxy glue, called PC-7. Did the repair and then carefully re-drilled the mount holes. Worked well repairing the plastic dash on my '71 Chevelle also. Works great and saved me some $$. Don't really notice the repair unless you look close. Just a suggestion.

I've got one sitting in my garage at home. Let me take a picture tonight and post it to see if it is the same.

I've got one with good tabs. It has some fan scars, little burn mark and a small edge missing. $75 plus the ride.

Re: WTB 1971 4WD/AC Fan Shroud

Here are pics of the shroud I bought off CList from a guy that had a Blazer. Thought it was what I needed until I got it home and found out it was too big. Didn't ask if it was for a 4x4!

There are a couple of scratches here and there but no fan scraps or broken tabs. It's in pretty good shape for original.

With a little cleaning, should look pretty good.

I'll take $85 plus shipping and fees.

Let me know.

Mine originally came off a 72 V8 blazer 4X4, but isn't that deep. I wonder what the differences are? Maybe it's just an optical illusion?
