72 K10 blowing connector pipe donuts
My 72 eats exhaust manifold to connector pipe gaskets ...(donuts)
I have changed them both twice in 6 months...I don't tow or haul anything heavy or got on it too often..mufflers too small ?

Re: 72 K10 blowing connector pipe donuts
I had this issue a long time ago ,small block dounuts kept failing , I added a exhaust maifold headpipe extention to each head pipe and whamo nevr had the issue again. Im sure they are still sold . they were only like $8 each they drop right in giving more area for the donut to seat to. worked for me

Seems to me like you might have some kind of restriction that is causing an overheating problem in the system. LockDoc
