Were still waiting. Pictures are worth 1000 words. Surely you have a photo of your prized possession. right? The condition of original paint varies from truck to truck, from very nice garaged all its life to burnt off sitting out in the hot Calif sun for 45 years. Or sheet metal could be all in fresh primer by now? Mechanical parts will be impossible to trace. Hard to believe anyone would expose personalized plates, those would be the first thing a pro would destroy.

I am looking for pictures but haven't found any. At least I have a couple pictures of my kids. Original paint with lots of "patina" and rust along drip rail.
The thief is known to police and is a local scumbag. They said he has taken 5th and not talking. I asked for his name but they told me "for obvious reasons" they can't give it to me.
Probably because when asked if I would testify in a trial, I told them I would prefer to beat the $h!t out of him.

Sorry about your truck, I hope you get it back. I was just wondering, was it stolen at your house? was it locked? Thanks,

I hear that. Good luck with it all. These dang old trucks are really easy to break Into/steal compared to late model stuff. Anyone who's locked your keys in something modern and tried to break in I'm sure will agree. I hate theives.

Re: Stolen Truck Alert - 1972 C20 Custom Camper

A couple of months ago someone reported their C10 stolen and a few weeks later the thieves were caught and he got his truck back. Keep the hope up! Pics would be a tremendous help. Also post it on FB and CL. Hope you'll get it back soon.

I hope you get it back. I googled your location... I hope it's not already on a container ship!

I was in your neck of the woods in September (drove the entire PCH from near Mexico to Seattle) It's beautiful over there!

Get ahold of the Police there. Are there any board members that live in that area? I hope you get your truck returned to you

Because, I don't have any and unable to locate truck to take any. We all know what a stock 1972 long bed looks like. I now know who took it but he is already running from three felonies, including one for firearms. I have his picture and am personally looking for him.

So, you know who has your truck then? I'm confused. What can any of us do to help you with no pictures, no description of the guy, or better yet his name, where he may be or may be heading.
