What Dizzy for L31
I have an stock HEI distributor,
and a 97 SBC distributor w/out vac advance. If I run the stock HEI, Ill have to get a melonized gear for it and the 97 model has no provisions for vac advance so I thinking of just purchasing a new dizzy already set up for roller cam. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks in advance for any help |

I'm considering a Skip White distibutor for mine. I checked with their tech support and they confirmed it has a mellonized gear.

The '97 distributor isn't a normal distributor anyway. All it really has inside is a cam position sensor. If the gear on it is in good condition, just remove it and put it on your old style HEI.

Does that distributor have a melonized gear? I don't see anything about it in the description. I don't know anything about Proform other than all their products are made in China.
