Found another one and brought it home

So while drinking coffee yesterday I was searching the web as usual and came across this solid 72 and well I just had to have it.

Re: Found another one and brought it home

Has some great options and the 292 was replace with a 307 from a camaro. Young man had timing 180 out and dizzy cap and button are toast. So today it's getting a new carb and tune up. And I had a set of 20s I thought I'd throw on it for grins and giggles, also pro just did a full brake job on it front and rear with new hoses, rotors and calipers

Floor pan is the most solid I have seen in a long time, core support is rough under battery and right fender has bondo. But yes it's solid and everything seems tight

Re: Found another one and brought it home

So since I've brought home I've got it running solid and gave it a 3/4 drop and buffed out the old paint. Time for it to find a new owner that'll make it their own by doing the small detail work

Yes it did, I believe it's old Enron paint. Didn't get soft when I heated it up like enamel

Re: Found another one and brought it home

Did you cut it and wax? Or just buff it out

Re: Found another one and brought it home

looks like night and day. drove through Hickory today on a quest for a chrome front bumper and the kid would only come down 5 bucks so I left it with him. waste of time. oh well.

I'll keep that in mind. If I keep showing up to find the truck is not close to 'as described', it's going to be worth shipping cost in exchange for credibility.
