Barn door - opening/locking from inside?
I'm thinking of putting a 3rd row seat - not original bench seats, but 2000-2006 GMC seats - backwards, old-skool station wagon style for the kids in my '72 Suburban. My biggest concern is locking/unlocking and opening the barn doors from inside. Has anyone had any luck solving this problem? I don't like the idea of leaving off the panel and manually actuating the linkages...looking for something a bit more "finished" looking.
I saw some images of 60-66 latches here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...19&postcount=2 anything similar for 67-72? |

I don't know of anything that is available. It would be a good project for designing something and posting a how to on it.... LockDoc
