Need a bit of brake booster ID help.

Yesterday I climbed in the 86 and hit the brakes after starting, and heard that wonderful sound of gush. I knew right then what it was, the booster had let go. Watched the vacuum gauge while touching the brakes, what vacuum none. I had started to notice a slight issue on take offs, a tip in hesitation. Now I know.

Anyway I looked at RockAuto and there asking me to look for a JB6 or JB7.
I have the sheet still in the glove box and I don't see this abbreviation code. Or even a mention of brakes on the list. The door sticker says nothing also. Could someone point me in the right direction please.

Thank you Ken 1986 C20 4X2 5.7L,700r4,3.43, Silverado

Re: Need a bit of brake booster ID help.

One more question, what is the correct color for the booster on a 1986 C20 Silverado ? I ordered a AC Delco reman. from Rockauto. With shipping under 80 bucks if anyone is interested.

Thanks Ken

Re: Need a bit of brake booster ID help.

Installed the new reman brake booster today. I order it from Rock Auto, and its a AC Delco unit. I sprayed it with matte gloss clear before installing. Only took about an hour total.
What a major difference in braking.
