how much coolant do I need?
How much coolant should I be running in my big block with a 4 core radiator? it is running hot right now so im going to flush the radiator and put new fluid in but am not sure how much I should use.

just fill it up get a couple gallons and mix it 50%coolant 50% water do not but the premix you are getting a 1/2 gallon of water for like the same price as a jug of real antifreeze

My 4 core S.B. holds three gallons of coolant. ( I checked it just last week) Ditto on the 50/50 mixture or even 60% antifeeze and 40 water. I don't live in an extremely cold area so I went the 50%/50% route. 1-1/2 gallon of each. You will hold a little more, being a B.B.
