MD 4 tach dashes one with air - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have 4 tach dashes in varying condition. I will describe one dash at a time then post pics of that dash then move on to the next one.

Dash #1 came out of my 72 Longhorn. The face of the tach was a little shady so I installed a decal on it that i got from another board member. To my knowledge all the gauges function as they should but i can't be sure. Dash has been sitting on shelf for a year. The bezel in in decent condition but the wood grain is not real good. It is broke in pcs (just the woodgrain cover) up in the top right area. It could be reglued but would still be missing about 3/4" small section. The lens is real nice on this one as well. The lower gauge faces are usable but not great

Dash #2 is a tach with air
Wood grain is good other than a small chip missing in upper right corner
Face of air gauge has discoloration
lens is decent other than the word battery has some fading
This dash is untested but appears in nice shape
The tach has decal on face same as dash #1

The tach harness has been soldered onto the tach at some point
Bezel in lens in good shape
Circuit board appears in good shape

probably worst condition. Face of tach would need sanding before decal would even do any good. This one had a broken lens in front of the tach area which is reason for condition of face. I had a spare good used lens that I put with it The circuit board on this one has some bad spots in it and would need to be replaced

The white line you see in pic one in the top rt. screw hole is not a crack it is a string tag
