Suburban floor braces
Looking to see if anyone remakes the floor supports for my 71 burb? Any chance they are the same as a fleetside pickup? Mine are rotted on the ends and don't really want to spend the time to patch them if there is a replacement option

Re: Suburban floor braces
I am just starting to cut into the body on this one. The sheetmetal is all pretty much toast but looking at the cross sills from underneath they look decent. I think the truck was undercoated from the dealership or factory which saved a lot of the frame and cross members. How soon are you needing these? It might take me the better part of this week to get them out to really access condition.

Re: Suburban floor braces
Kevin,
I finally was able to get both cross members out today. The rear one looks real good. Undercoating from original saved it. The wider one looks real nice on the bent up portion. The top flat plate that is spot welded to it should probably be replaced as it is real thin. If you want to see any other pictures just let me know & I will get them to you. I will pm you with shipping costs. Other than the top flat plate all the rust you see is surface rust. I have not found any pitting and a quick sand blast should make them look real nice. .

Re: Suburban floor braces
Richard, I could be interested in the flat seat reinforcement plate if LSGTO isn't interested.

Re: Suburban floor braces
The taller cross member is the same as a truck. Hole pattern is different I think
