65 c10 hubcaps painted or chrome?
What is correct for a 65 C10 with white painted bumpers? White or chrome dog dish hubcaps?

Painted... but... hubcaps were often a dealer add on, and chrome would be available at any GM counter.

So far, no repops on the painted caps.
If a truck was ordered with the "Custom Chrome" option, it would have had a chrome front bumper and chrome caps. If not, then it got the standard painted versions. |

I brought painted caps to the chrome shop for him to strip. He said he likes to strip the paint off himself so he knows what chemicals and process was used. He then chromed them. I'll be running them on my matching trailers.

They're a little brighter than the NOS ones on the truck. You only really notice when their next to each other.

I just bought these 4 early take off or NOS caps and they are going to the platers next week. I just couldn't bring myself to use the repops with the skinny chevy emblem.

no they were not. they were non custom chrome option white was the std cap
