GMC gas tank relocation
I'm wanting to move my gas tank using a 64-68 mustang tank, the only issue is the GMC has leaf springs, the rear cross member is aligned with the rear of my leafs. If I move this am I going to affect my structural integrity of my frame. I've seen a lot of people relocate on chevys but not on GMCs, has anyone ran into this or done this to a GMC already?

Re: GMC gas tank relocation
Think about a different tank, Boyd's Welding is very popular and well built. I have one and it fit without any mods except for the small crossmember forward of the rear crossmember in your pix has to be removed. Good luck!
