64 C10 Truck bed rebuild
So After spending a good part of the winter working on the Truck bed we are now getting to the point where I need to buy the hardware for the wood truck bed. I am wondering if anyone has used LMC for their wood bed hardware. I also have a couple of questions about what I need to purchase. I know I need the bed strip kit and the bolt kit. We plan on painting the strips black and leaving the bolts as stainless steel. Also I know we need the angle brackets that attach to the side of the bed of the truck. The part I am wondering about is the bed wear strip. This looks like it goes between the last piece of wood and the side angle bracket. Thank you for any information that you can give me. The attached picture is how the bed is coming along so far. We had a good amount of rot so we decided to replace parts here and there. Thanks for taking a look. |

Re: 64 C10 Truck bed rebuild
It is a short bed step. Thank you all for the information. I had thoughts of going through LMC for these pieces because they are less expensive than MarK but wanted to make sure that they worked for people. If the price difference is not much I will go through Mark.
Thank you all for the information. |
