Help 72 mirrors

I just recently bought a 72 c20 as a project and the side view mirrors are gone. But i cant find out what style they are so i can get some new ones. The bolt holes are 4 1/2 center to center on the screw holes and straight across. i will get a picture if it will help. i have looked and dont really want to drill new holes but cant find anything. Thanks guys

Re: Help 72 mirrors

Those look like mounting holes for what are commonly known on here as "sport mirrors".

Re: Help 72 mirrors

Looks like something aftermarket to me. Maybe check the 73 and newer small mirrors. Looks close to that.

Re: Help 72 mirrors

That was my first thought was the 73 so I bought some and the mounting holes are 3 3/4 hole to hole.

These might work. The 50's era Chevys had 2 bolt holes, and these ones have an elongated hole for the second screw. I don't know how far apart they go, but it's worth more investigation. There are also simular ones with turn indicators available.
