Question clark 455 5speed / eaton 4005a 5speed ?

I have the top cover off my trans to reseal it . I never drove this truck ( blown engine other thread ) so I don't know if it was noise .

the reverse gear is kind of floppy on the shaft ? ?

is this normal or is it going south and ready to drop ?

the rest of the inside is super clean . oil drained was dark and no major chunks or bits . drain plug mag has normal super fine junk on it .

I did notice the 1st/rev shift fork has more wear than should . prob from someone riding the shifter when driving . I was planning on checking price for new .

any help would be great .

here is the parts blow up http://r.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=AwrBT...QzlGRTpELo.W8-
