Yep, still some around --- the GMC short fleet is one family owned -- spent all its time on a pecan farm in TX...
I just got the trailer 6-8 months ago --- should have done it 5 yrs ago😎...

Hey Jimmy,
How's your Suburb progress??
I still have a few purchases scattered around that I have to pick up and get home.
This Suburb is really a solid truck --- prob gonna sell after spending some $$$ on it and driving for a while....

Yep and got the GM add-on bedside steps ---- sold new at San Sebo Tractor in San Sebo, TX. 😄😎👍
Also has the vintage dash mounted fan!!! And unfortunately 70s-80s moon roof installed --- but kinda kool to keep all that stuff for a patina shop truck build which is what I plan for this one...

Re: Weekend Shopping Trip

Thanks guys...

Brian, actually was looking for somebody to machine the radiused spacers that go on top of seat tubes, not the bolts --- there are a couple of viable bolt substitution out there. I have been so busy at work and buying/moving trucks and suburbans that I haven't pursued passed the first couple of folks that I approached and they weren't interested...

Re: Weekend Shopping Trip

Well it seems that I have all the wayward kids from the left side of the country rounded up ---- but still have 4 (I think that's all) located on the right side of the country. Seems I'm gonna be making some HARD decisions soon --- gotta decide which kids to keep and which ones to kick out --- I'll update as decisions are made
At any rate ---- here are the 4 wayward kids that are still out there:

Re: Weekend Shopping Trip

Billy,

I'm jealous of that new shop!

I dropped my fuel tank to get the fuel level sender rebuilt. It's all back together now and I have fully functional gauges! Now I can see that the rebuilt WW I put on has greatly improved the gas mileage as well.

Did you ever have any luck with getting someone to reproduce the suburban seat bolts?
