Perfect 72 door price - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Just wondering if there was such a thing, about how much a guy would have to give for a set of nearly perfect doors for a 72.
Ones with no rust or body repairs needed.

If I had a set they would be 400.

Finding them around here is hard, probably run you $400 for a pair of rust free if you found them. Good luck, Randy

Dealer here told me he is getting the doors new from lmc for $250.

I bough a set a few years back from a local add in the Chico Calif paper for $125, complete with mirrors and upper and lower molding.
It was a great find. They are now long gone on a truck I sold 2 years ago.

Darren, I saw a set at a swap meet two years ago for $50! They were gone by the time I got back to pick them up...LOL! Frank is the guy around here with all the good doors!

the cheapest I have bought complete doors (good condition) is $75 and the most expensive is $125

I bought a set from WES at classic heartbeat. They were RUST-free and the only thing wrong with them was they had cut outs for speakers. Had perfect vent windows and regulators...for $300. I thought it was a good deal. Saved lots of work fixing the old ones on my blazer.

67-71 doors bring 100-200 each and 72's will bring up to 250 for one in original paint and great shape.

You guys are great!
I was just trying to see if I should keep the doors off a good clean 72 GMC I am getting ready to sell. Thet are not totally rust free however (the bottoms have some), and they have holes for speakers.
Figure maybe I 'll leave them on the truck, and buy better ones for the Cheyenne Super. I would spend more than $300 on a body guy making these perfect.
I just needed help deciding on where to spend the money / recources.
