Question lift for 95 tahoe

Maybe someone can help, point me in the right direction,I have a 95 two door Tahoe and i thinking of putting a 3 inch lift on it. Can someone recommend a good lift to go with? any pro's or con's would be helpful thanks.

Re: lift for 95 tahoe

Going with a three inch is probably not the best way to go because you have to a least a four to do the front drop subframe to maintain proper alingment specs and driveability. All of the two to three kits out there just crank the torsion bars and you will loose ride and driveability.

Re: lift for 95 tahoe

I second that I would go with at least a 4" lift to have a good quality one that's not just cranking your torsion bars up. I have a 6" Tuff Country lift on my '95 and I really like it the lift has had up well and was a chunk of change but not insanely expensive either. Rough Country is alright but like the name seems to ride kinda rough and crappy just my personal opinion.

Re: lift for 95 tahoe

I think RCX has the best IFS lift for these. I had a '99 tahoe with some 6" lift and road great. Don't forgot shocks play a big part in ride. Also don't crank the **** outta of the t-bars, that will kill your ride too. I believe the RCX lift is 4-6" depending on t-bar load. Or just suck it up and go SAS!!!

Re: lift for 95 tahoe

I second that RCX makes good lifts I know a handful of buddies who have them on IFS trucks. Shocks do also play a part in how it will ride but when buying a lift better quality usually comes with a higher price just gotta pay to play is how it works.
