suburban tailgate lift support vs. nomad rear window supports
does anyone know if nomad liftgate arms would fit 60's suburban liftgates.
i see some on nomad supports on ebay, they look about the same length as those on my 65, all i would need to do is switch the end brackets from my sub to the nomad arms if the length is close. the arms i have on my truck now I found in the discount bin of walmarts rv dept. for $2, they were the same length but had right angle brackets on the ends. I removed the right angle bracket and reused the ends from my original arms, they have worked good but are starting to get sloppy and i need to thing about replacing them before they collapse like my originals did.
