Chris from Camano Island, WA
Hi, my name is Chris and I have a '65 GMC, AKA the Chevy with leaf springs and the turkey engine.
It's a pretty nice rig with factory power steering and brakes and a HaDeez crotch cooler. The steel canopy has been on it since new so it's seldom seen hard work. And the first owner (from whom I bought it) tarred the bed floor and installed a sheet of 16-gauge galv over it so you'd never know it did any work at all. I have plans for it but mostly to improve drive quality. I don't have a ton of information specific to these trucks but I do have a lot of general automotive knowledge that I can contribute. ![]() ![]() |
