Re: Front dana 44 axle shafts
Thanks Randy, it was my dads from 1967 to 2004 only truck he every owned. i got it after he passed. but it was a 2 wheel drive then 3 on the tree then and i put it on a 72 frame with a automatic and tilt column. He would never trade it and always said it will mine one day. I have owned several 1967 through 72's through the years but this is the only one now. Oh and my axles will be here Thursday and already did the ball joints while waiting on the axles. My rear axle was done a year ago.

Re: Front dana 44 axle shafts
It's good to see it stay in the family, my dad had a 71 GMC 4x4 when I was growing up.
he sold it after they split up. he has another one now a 72 GMC 4x4 but it needs a lot of attention...

Re: Front dana 44 axle shafts
I enjoy axle work more than most any other. You know you have something when you're done. They gotta roll and they gotta go. Can't beat a rebuilt axle
