1971 C-10 Steering Wheel Issues.....

Having some issues swapping out my stock steering wheel with one off a 1978 Camaro. Can not get the horn to work as it should. Works fine until I tighten the screws then it stops working as it should which is when pressed. Am I missing something here. Am I suppose to have something to add to this installation?

You may have the wrong plastic spacer that the screws go through. You might have to put small washers under each tube to raise it a little.
