Wanted to share my latest purchase

Man you guys have NO idea how long I have been looking for a nice solid
Suburban and still cant believe I am now the VERY proud owner of a
solid 65 suburban. I flew from NC to Oklahoma (almost Texas) to get it and Brought it home with a Uhaul truck and trailer. A long drive but would do it again tomorrow if I had the chance ....

Re: Wanted to share my latest purchase

Looks better in your driveway than the pics you sent me. Good to see you got one. I am working on a set of plates for gas struts to test on mine as I don't have a set either. Will let you know how that works out.

Re: Wanted to share my latest purchase

I have done just a little history on the truck so far and plan to dig a little deeper on the background of it. I do have the protect o plate and all the factory manuals that would have come with it in the glove box even the clear Chevrolet bag they were kept in. The truck was bought new on 2/1/65 from Roy Hall Chevrolet in Anadarko Ok. And have the original owners name and address (in 1965). From what I know I think it spent all its life in that area and made its way over to Sayre Ok.
