I guess I should've fixed the 6x9 holes first... but where would I chunk my trash if I did that?

Those do look pretty good. I am going to be redoing the ones I got with the 68 in a few months, maybe we can get together and you can show me how to do that. You need to come take a ride in the 68 too. We clouded up the street pretty good this afternoon and left a nice big patch of rubber. Oooooo that smell.

hey dobber, can you PM directions on making custom door panels like that? I just want to know how to make those tweed panels, not about making that cool design. How much would that cost to do both door panels in just a basic design tweed? eventhough i have no experience with that would i be able to do it myself, or should i bring it to a professional?

Thanks I appreciate it. they were really easy. I can do a write up on it. I used fiber board, Vinyl top padding, tweed and 3m adhesive. I did cheat though... I drew it up in Autocad and printed it full scale to cut the design.

That looks nice. How much did the tweed cost you? And where did you find the Vinyl top padding?

That is really awesome looking!

Been a while since I have been able to drive my truck, but I don't think I would miss my arm rests at all. Does that take getting used to not having them?

I live in south Texas....My armrest is the top of the door with the window down. I don't miss it but I have been trying to find a good way to shut the door with the window up without destroying the inside handle...

you could mount a handle from a junk yard up in the metal part. I know minivans have small plastic handles that you could paint to match

The vinyl top pad is cheap also.... I've got a couple of yards of it in the garage right now..... You can pick it up at any autotrim supply shop. I go to Penn Industries in OKC they always seem to have good prices. Now, i'm just looking for some tweed to match to my seats........ then I'm putting some nice bowties on each panel. BTW: those panels are freaking sweet!

Speaking of finding some tweed... has anyone seen any that is very similar to either syle of fabric on my seats... Here's a zoomed in shot of the bottom of my seat.
