4x4 locking hubs
Hey 4x4 guru's I need some help...I'm doing some maintenance on the ole K-10 and I can't remember if there's supposed to be grease past the front bearings on the locking mechanism. I couldn't get them to lock in this winter and suspect they may have been frozen with grease, I took the left side apart and it was loaded with grease...I got all the parts cleaned up and before I put it back together dry, to me looks like it would need some grease but I can't remember as it's been a while since I assembled one back...Thanks

Re: 4x4 locking hubs
I don't anymore for the reason you said. In winter they wouldn't work or if I got mud/dirt in it. So for the last 10 years I just put a really thin layer where the outer lock out slides into the inner part
