Phew! I'm finally at the top of the hill!

I finished painting the frame with por 15. I bolted on the front crossmember today. The local hardware store didn't have all the grade 8 bolts that I needed. (I only needed 2 more w/nuts and lock washer) I'm gonna go to the boat builders warehouse tomorrow to get the other 2 (and maybe the tranny crossmember bolts). Hopefully I can get the suspension painted and bolted on by November so I can roll it out of the garage for Thanksgiving dinner. (It's a Hawaii thing to have a party in the garage!).

I'm pretty sure I can get the LT1 bolted on so that I can clear up some square footage.

anyway, thanks all for reading my blabbering.

Post some pics man!
I NEVER thought I would say this but I am starting to miss that Hawaii weather. It's been 4 years since I been back home, but every time I see my breath around here I think about the Rock.

Here's a pic of the frame taken at night. I'll get another one when the sun is shining. It was taken a couple of months ago. the front was done but I still had to do the back and bottom of the frame.

Nice

Why drop a LT1 in when you have the nice straight six sitting there

Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but there is no top of the hill! The more money and time you spend on these trucks, the more you want to do and spend, then the bigger and faster you want to go, etc etc. The next thing you know, you're flat broke, your family left, the dog died and the bank took your house, but you've got one insane truck.

Ain't it great!!!!

The frame looks great. The LT1 swap is going to be nice! Keep climbing!!!
