rear hatch window removal/ gauge question

I have 2 questions, no relation to each other.. 1- How do you remove the rear hatch window on a blazer? In the trucks I know when you install its installed from the inside. 2- Can the stock instrument gauges work with a missing gauge?

On the gauge cluster question all the gauges that are present will function perfectly normal. The one that is missing will just be an empty hole in the cluster.

I removed my rear hatch window, no special tools. Hatch laying flat on the bench,( on a carpet pad ) Soap it up good, some small wooden or plastic shims work it out from the back side. Plastic putty knife under rubber, feed in shims to hold the rubber out on 2 sides carefully work glass and rubber out. I cleaned and reused all the rubber on mine. Cleaned and treated with Wintergreen oil and xyleen, Nasty stuff, it will eat regular rubber gloves.

Lacquer thinner will do wonders for rejuvenating old rubber. However, new rubber is available at a nominal cost.
