motor
is the block a stardard bore or ever been rebuilt and crank as well im wanting to rebuild mine but having another would be alot easier also you know if its a rollor motor or not ive heard some are some arnt only way to tell is pull intake

i know it is all standard and it runs.i am not sure on the roller.

Being a truck engine, it should be a hyd. flat tappet cam. BUT...the block still has the provisions for the roller cam setup. Just hit the junkyard and pull all the roller stuff out of a Caprice or something.

have a 94 with a 305. were these roller motors??

motor
i have a new hyd cam in my garage i want to rebuild the motor in my truck but only need a short block will you seperate and ship the short block to Houston and if so price please i have a good set of heads and was planning on rebuilding my motor but if i can get another block at a good price i will....Steve

None of the truck engines were roller till the Vortecs came out in '96, although the blocks are already machined and stuff to drop a roller cam set in.
