69 Rust Free-Near Perfect-Project Up for Sale

Changed direction and acquired an 85K20 so it's out with my collection I was putting together for this 69K10.

Important Note- The axles shown in the pics are NOT part of the deal. Those are 1 ton stuff and the only part of the deal I'm not parting with. This means you either have axles to put in it or, are buying the remainder of the truck to put on an existing frame.

This is an original all steel OEM southern Arizona truck that is 99.5% rust and dent free. There was a small section of surface rust beginning to start on the floorboard near the cowl that resulted in some pitting before I caught it and neutralized it. Otherwise there is not a spot of rust anywhere on the cab, bed or fenders. The windshield has a crack, all the other glass (rear window and doors) are good. I have all the inner parts (regulators, glass, channels, wing windows, etc.) boxed and in storage along with the hood hinges and tailgate hardware and taillight assemblies. Its got a high-hump trans cover. The grill has a dent in each side but is otherwise a good driver quality piece.
If your interested in the frame, it has springs and brackets from a an 85 K30 with ORD HD shackles. If you plan on putting YOUR D60/14FF in, it will bolt right up.

I want everything to go away as a package. If you can show up in Yuma, Az with a flatbed trailer, I'll help you load it.
Hit me up with any questions. I have the Vin plate and registration in hand.

$1400.00

Re: 69 Rust Free-Near Perfect-Project Up for Sale

Hey guys,
Appreciate the interest. I'm glad you all appreciate a solid rust free truck.

T Korinek spoke first, so it is tentatively his. If it doesn't work out, Nsanehotrodz is next in line (assuming he's willing to pay the asking price ($1400)? After that is BLT Gmc and then 72 ironmike.

Mike

I guess I have nothing then... Not to be a jerk but I respected the original "I'll take it" but would have gladly and still would take it in a second..

SunSoaked, this would mean the world to mean. I respect your process and anxiously await. This would not be a yard sale, this would be personal used by myself and finish what you have started. Take care, Bruce

Re: 69 Rust Free-Near Perfect-Project Up for Sale

as has always been the forum "rule of thumb", the first "I'll take it" trumps any questions, quotes for shipping and offers.

No offence to t korinek or Nsanehotrodz, but from what I see, BLT gmc is the first with $ in hand at the asking price??

Re: 69 Rust Free-Near Perfect-Project Up for Sale

Well by all means if that's what all you guys think that we should do then let's do it!
Just run it by the owner of the truck.

Common sense would tell you that if you were going to pick up a truck with no axles & hundreds of miles away, you would at least find out some of the specifications/ details out before you said you would take it , that's what I did.

I had already agreed to take this truck before blt even had commented on it.

I can see BLT wants it pretty bad so I'll bow out if it's ok with sunsoaked, since it's his deal.

Thanks,
Tom

Maybe a moderator could address this. SunSoaked explained his decision reasoning and it sounds fair & just. I don't think he broke board rules. Just my $.02.

Seller parts, sellers call. No rules were broken. If seller wants to go with first poster, fine; if seller wants to go with first I'll take it, fine.
