Adjusting door on a 62 C10

I have been noticing that when I go over bumps in my 62 C10 my passenger side door is making knocking noises. I have all new seals and hing pins and the door shuts fine and the gaps are all fine. When I try to wiggle the door by the outside handle it does not move up and down but rather I in and out a little and makes the same noise. I was wondering what is the best way to fix this. Should I try to move the rounded wedge shaped pat that is connected to the door jamb with 2 screws or should I try to adjust the striker plate?

My 64 does the same thing. As long as you are satisfied with the gaps and flushness from the hinges, I would only mess with the strikers. Are your door bumpers present and in good condition and the proper ones/length? I have usually found that when I get it as close as I can where it shuts and opens easily enough but still rattles a little, I will loosen the bottom strikers bolts and then the top ones just loose enough to pivot the bottom of the door striker in a tiny bit. (like a mm at a time) until desired fit can be obtained. These old doors are finiky. Some people use the small grease pen to mark where they want the striker to be or even score the metal but I dont because I have nice paint and it would make it look bad. Sometimes, when rocker panels and cab corners get done on these trucks by PO's it can really affect the proper door opening width making it impossible to get the door to sit right and or open/close.
