65 radiator seal / shroud questions

I have a 65 K10 292 that uses the V8 style radiator. I just got new rubber seals but have no idea how to staple them to the side and top panels - Also, will a stock fiberglass V8 shroud work in this application? Thanks for any help, Tom

Re: 65 radiator seal / shroud questions

The rubber pieces are sold by vendors. I made my own staples using stainless steel wire. All done by hand.

No a V8 fan shroud will not work with the 292.

Re: 65 radiator seal / shroud questions

Was hoping for a shortcut on the staples, oh well, another couple hour job that will take me all weekend. Won't be the first or last time. At least I won't screw up a good original shroud trying to shoehorn it where it doesn't belong.
Thanks to both of you for the help, I really appreciate it, Tom
