Need a pic or explain gas tank filler
I am trying to put the gas tank filler grommet(weatherstripping?) on my blazer and I can't figure out if I have it on right. What does it look like from the ext. without the cap on? Pic would be GREATLY appreciated. I used KY Jelly (don't laugh it works great!) to slide in the filler neck thru the grommet, but am not sure if the rubber grommet that fits the ext. of the truck is on right. How far out does the filler sit compared to the outside panel of the bedside??? Thanks-

What type of grommet do you have? Is it all solid or does it kinda look like an accordian?

Frenchblue72 - Thanks that was what I needed! I couldn't figure if I had the seal right, and if it was sticking out to far! Thanks-
Blacknblue 67 72- It is the accordian style I think. Thanks! |
