First things first.

Just wanted to take a minute of your time to introduce myself and my new-to-me GMC. Very happy to have found this resource, as it seems there's a wealth of knowledge to be shared here. I hope to get a little guidance and some advice from the more learned (old) members here, as I'm admittedly learning this thing as I go. She's a solid old brick and has lived a good life, but we're fixin' to make some changes for her second go round. Hope to become a part of the community here and maybe someday, I'll be the the one giving the pointers. For now though, let's start this thing off on the right foot with some pics.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. She's real photogenic haha. Not quite as nice in person, but absolutely CANNOT take a bad photo. Still sharp for a 41 year old though.

Nothing too wild. Gonna get it a few inches closer to the ground (I'm one of those guys that lowers just about everything), and maybe some factory Dodge Alcoa 16" wheels. It's got a pretty hot little small block in it that I'm very happy with, but I'm in serious need of an OD trans. I have a 4L60E laying around but that may not be the best option. If I find a good deal on an LS at some point there's no reason it shouldn't find it's way in there too. Just want to make a solid old cruiser that'll pull my trailer and toys. The 4.6 Ford that's being replaced just doesn't do the job like I want it to. I know what you mean about the old square duallys. Saw a clean one driving around one day, then googled them, which brought me to a pics thread on this site, and I was on the hunt for one the very next day.
