Re: WIW complete nos (square body) cab
I have no idea. Not like there's any other for comparison. It's a gem and worth probably way more than you could sell it for . I'll take a stab and throw 5 grand out there because I think someone would pay that. Not saying it isn't worth more or that nobody would pay more. I think it's worth more in comparison. Too bad the trucks in United Arab Emirates don't rust. They'd pay $10k and have it shipped if they needed it. I may know someone who might be interested. He does the top dollar shortbeds. But then again, he owns a body shop and his guys can fix anything. I should call him and ask what he thinks on value and/or if interested.
That's odd that they'd supply interior parts with the sheet metal, or even locks and such. I'm sure that was never a cheap order. I guess they kept a few around for insurance repairs on burned up cabs. It's not like they did it for restorers 30 years later. Might find it's better to part out.

Re: WIW complete nos (square body) cab
Ok, I thought it was a tall tale till now (jokin')
Heck, I don't know. My mind wants to jumps to $5k every time I start to think about it, then I think what a perfect truck brings and then all the work involved. They probably had these loaded units for late model insurance claims and now it's prime restoration material. I could see just the cab bringing $3k and you know what door shells go for if you look around. These are loaded doors! I do see more $ there if sold separately. I also see someone with deep pockets getting excited enough to pay more than I can imagine. There are still people out there who still don't look at what they have into a restoration compared to what they could get for it...like how it used to be. You do it because it's what you want, not an investment. You'll get people wanting it "for" an investment, but they're the low-ballers obviously. I dunno buddy, I want to say $5K with a margin at the top end for higher. Is there anybody else out there?

Re: WIW complete nos (square body) cab
Am I wrong or is the floor flat? It doesn't look like it has the humps where the fuel tanks fit under the cab. Would that make it for a C50 or something? The transmission tunnel seems more prominent than normal as well, even for a high hump cab. If it's for a big truck then it'd require modification to use for a restoration and kind of drops it's potential value some IMO.

Re: WIW complete nos (square body) cab
I found some pictures of a C50 cab floor from a build thread on here and it definitely looks like that's a big truck cab. The engine recess in the firewall looks different too, there could be other differences that would make it difficult to use on a regular truck as well.

Re: WIW complete nos (square body) cab
I was just informed by an individual that had 55 buddies named Benjamin that it would be a nice start to his k20 big block restoration. You could tell he was excited to own it

Re: WIW complete nos (square body) cab
I have seen a few of those cabs crated like that over the years. Thats a big truck cab right? Little back window? Make sure the person you sell it to knows that if it is. It will take some modifying to work on a regular truck.
