Gauge wiring
I will use my original dashboard and wounder if my 22 circuit wiring kit 910-64022 from Speedway can be conected with this part?

It can be wired up just fine. I'm not sure if your aftermarket kit will have all the sender wires but here's the diagram.

Your number 5 is for the temperature sender wire for the three gauge lights dash, on the seven gauge dash it was moved to the number six for the temperature gauge and the number 5 was left empty.

I used that very same wiring harness when I built my 71'.
Just be sure to add a ground wire from the chassis to the metal tin Of the gauge cluster and to the bottom terminal of the temperature gauge (Ask me how I know) I kept thinking I over torqued the nuts on the back of the gauge where the circuit board attaches, causing the circuit traces to ground against the tin, turns out, it just needed a dedicated ground wire to read correctly. I actually used the original front light harness and the firewall connectors, and terminated them to the speedway harness. Everything was labeled so it was simple, just verified the factory wiring diagrams to the speedway schematic and was super easy. Have a good one! Ben

Yep, additional ground is always a good idea. I added one to the tin of
My cluster and used a bullet connector for easy removal.

I don't follow "terminal of the temperature gauge".
It's hard to understand the technical language in English up here in northern Scandinavia. Can't I use empty nr 5. |
