Need to get some facts straight
I feel like I should know this but I don't. I know that for the pickups there is the C/K designations for 2wd and 4wd but what about the Blazers and Jimmy's?

Re: Need to get some facts straight
The C/K designation is the same for Blazers, e.g., a 4x4 Blazer is a K5.

Re: Need to get some facts straight
Not trying to be a smart-a$$ here, but is a 2wd Blazer a C5 Blazer? I think the C-5 Galaxy is the only C5 I've ever heard of...well, that and the 5th vertebra in the neck.

Re: Need to get some facts straight
A two wheel drive blazer is a C/5, but it was cheaper just to use the K/5 emblem on all of the blazers. Kinda like how 4x4 K/10s and K/20s have 2wd C/10 and C/20 badges.

Ahh, that makes more sense to me now. I'd never heard 2wd blazers called C5s only K5s

While we are at it, is the 4x4 Jimmy considered a k/5?

Re: Need to get some facts straight
I'm not sure about that, since no gmc trucks had c-10 or k-10 badges they all just say gmc on the fenders I think.
