Re: ? on head light
I upgraded to Hella Vision Plus Conversion Headlights. Happy with the product and light output. Super easy install.

Re: ? on head light
I think putting in headlight relays will give the most improvement in lighting. With the truck running and you get your 14 volts to the headlights put in what others recommend. I think I might have put in halogen but one burnt out so now one of each.

Halogens, plus relay kit.
I still have T4s... I don't drive at night much, lol. I should trade someone. |

Re: ? on head light
I am interested in this topic, too. In addition to posting your bulbs, can someone please describe what I need to do w/r/t a relay? New to that kinda thing so really not sure.

Re: ? on head light
Go to the electrical forum and type in headlight relay. Lot's of stuff explained there and you'll have fun doing it.

Re: ? on head light
Cibie H4 headlights are the best that look old (fluted glass lens). They have a better beam pattern than Hella H4's.
A relay harness will help as much as a good set of headlights. Do both a harness and Cibie H4's and you'll have better lights than modern cars with halogen bulbs, and better than some oem HID/projector headlights. Stay away from bulbs that have blue coatings as they filter out some of the useable light. Link to Cibie H4's. https://www.amazon.com/Cibie-082440-.../dp/B008DQV88Q Voltage drop/lumens chart. Just a little bit of voltage drop makes a big difference in brightness. Low beam shot of my Cibie H4's with a relay harness: High beam:

Re: ? on head light
I added relays and switched to Sylvania Silverstar lights. Very happy with the results.
