Thats so unbelieveably lame. That school's principal and admins all need to be slapped across the face repeatedly with a month old trout.

other punishments at the school..........
This, after an honors student in Katy lost her class presidency for bringing a Korean pencil sharpener to class and a felony charge for a student in Conroe ISD for sharing his asthma inhaler.

I don't know how the food is in Broken Arrow but around here our school also offers another line you can go in that has things like cheese fries, pizza pockets, chicken strips and things like that. It costs more but you dont have to eat the regular stuff.

this is BS!!!
this school isn't far from where i live. all of the government is BS they all need to be fired. they need to work for a living, and stop just taking from the taxpayers. all of my taxes keep increasing, while the amount of work i do keeps going down. i see crap like this on the news everyday. i need to be an elected official so i can make some easy money and help screw everything up. |

Geez. What the hell is wrong with the schools these days? This isn't the only crazy stuff I hear about. See here for another: 'Patriotic' Stick Figure Drawing Troubles School
What is wrong with teachers and administrators today? When I was younger, everyone learned from their differences and the teachers were pretty cool. Now, they're just the #$^&@! "thought police"... I remember one kid in high school giving a lecture on how to defeat any combination lock, another on how to make a pipe bomb of all things. In elementary school, we said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning. In third grade, my teacher was surprised I didn't have a penknife on me to cut up my apple at lunch. Boy, how times have changed... and I'm only 31!

He knew he was stealing the cheese. I dont care if it costs $25 or 25 cents, he stole it. People used to always steal food when I was in school. I say kick him out of school for a week as a first warning then put him on school clean up for another week. He can spend a weeks worth of lunch times cleaning the campus in front of his friends. Cops should not have been called, but he was wrong and did steal the cheese. If he gets caught stealing something again then call the cops.
I would still rather him steal some cheese then our truck parts! Took me a second to get it Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

We had a similar over reaction to a kid hacking into the computer system. The school board reps are idiots and have their heads shoved way up their ass. Kid didn't do much wrong, then he did something stupid and got busted. The school board had been alerted of the security hold for 5 year and never did anything about it. Serves them right!

He may or may have not known he was stealing the cheese.....even if he did it was only $.25!
Make him pay the $.25......and if he really did steal the cheese...give him a hour or two of detention and call it good I graduated back in may and went to a small HS (74 people in my graduating class), so there wasn't too much BS, but there was still quite a bit.
