Most lights work!

Good news. Put the new battery cables in...I guess I routed those more directly than factory because both of mine are at least 6 inches too long!

Dad and I dropped in a battery and BINGO most lights work!

What works:

horn
headlights (dim and bright plus dash highbeam indication light)
tail lights
license plate light
inside dome light
rear side marker lights
"oil pressure" idiot light

Does not work:

front side marker lights
dash cluster light (to see gauges in dark)
radio

Did not test:

turn signals as I still have the front bumper off

Dad and I will test continuity on side marker bulbs and female ends. We have decided to put the radiator in, put on new hoses, change oil, and go for start.
