I'm looking for a spacer, I'd prefer hubcentric but I just can't find what I'm looking for. I know spacers aren't the ideal thing but when I lowered the truck I used drop spindles and there is now clearance issues on my wheels on the front. I need about a 0.25" spacer, 5x5 (5x127) lug pattern.

I ran cheap 1/2" parts store spacers for years on the front axle of my Jeep without any problems and I ran way bigger tires than you will be. As long as you have enough lug stud length You will be fine.

Thanks for that, I ordered some from titan wheel accessories that were on sale. I'm looking for studs now and it's been a real pain to find information. My current studs are around .600 knurl and have about 1" of thread. There's not enough thread for the wheels and even less with the .25".

I think a 2" bolt will give me around .5" more thread... I just need to find studs. Any suggestions? Harder to locate for me than they should be.

Do the wheel rims hit the lower control arms? If so, is it feasible to grind down the control arms a little?

I heard about this problem with 8" rally wheels that have a lot of backspacing (4-1/4"?). But my C10 has around 3/8" clearance with Western Chassis dropped spindles for HD brakes (1.25" thick rotors).

What brand are your spindles?

Mcgaughy drop spindles, it doesn't touch the spindle it's just real close. My truck also has the thicker rotors. I got spacers from Titan wheel accessories for about $19.

Look like I may have bought the last set, haha. I noticed they were pulled from Amazon yesterday after finding them the day prior so I went on their site and jumped on it. Won't be hubcentric for me as these have a 87.1 bore hub.

What brand are your spindles? __________________ Mike 1969 C10 LWB -- owned for 35 years. 350/TH350, 3.08 posi, 1st Gen Vintage Air, recent AAW wiring harness, 5-lug conversion, 1985 spindles and brakes. 1982 C10 SWB -- sold 1981 C10 Silverado LWB -- sold, but wish I still had it! 1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 24 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined. I still used a dial-up modem back then!
