Re: Heater Core
I would try rockauto.com they list both styles and usually arrive in just a few days.

Re: Heater Core
Local radiator shop. Because using the side tanks from original will most likely be end result. There are other wright ups here on how "replacement" dosnt fit.

Re: Heater Core
pro-tip: prior to installing any heater core, especially aftermarket, reman, or repair where new manufacture is not available, pressure test prior to install for insurance.
good luck! |

Re: Heater Core
That depends on which heater you have. Do you have the recirculating heater or the Deluxe heater? If you have a deluxe heater with a working Ranco valve, you will have to have the tan ks switch at a radiator shop no matter which heater core you get. You can get one for a '64-'66 Deluxe heater since you are going to change the tanks. The core for the recirculating heater is easy to come by.

Re: Heater Core
Thanks for all the tips... I bought one from O'reilly's they are local and it's pretty darn close to what I took out..... My old one was 54 years old and I could get it repaired but I was afariad there might be some thin spots in the metal that would start leaking down the road....
